About Cecily

My name is Kathy and I represent the family of Jacqueline. Cecily was a caregiver to my mother for 1 ½ years and my family is forever in her debt. Cecily was thoughtful, respectful, caring and showed nothing but love to our mother. Her medical knowledge on memory care, wound care and medicine was a great asset for us. Cecily would come into work every day with a positive attitude and a smile. My mother had dementia and her mobility was limited. When Cecily came to us my mom was already in a wheelchair and needed assistance with personal hygiene and everyday tasks. Cecily made sure my mom would do the things she loved and would be patient with her when she struggled. They would take walks in the neighborhood and sit outside when the weather would permit, look through photo albums as my mom would remember the past and she would bring special treats for her for breakfast or lunch. She was very considerate of what our family wanted and we looked to her for suggestions and advice. In the last 1 ½ of my mother’s life, Cecily made the transition easier on all of us. The day my mom passed Cecily was with us. She answered questions and help prepare my mom for the funeral home to receive her. We consider Cecily part of our family.
