About Cecilia

Hello! I am currently an Activity Coordinator at Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Centers. I am looking to change my career path and begin working in childcare, as I have in previous years. I have experience working as an assistant preschool teacher, a daycamp teacher for kiddos ages 3-5, as well as 3 years of experience working as an educator. As a Program Educator at Girls Inc. of Orange County, I taught and mentored students ranging from T-K through college. A core curriculum I brought to the classroom was the importance of confidence, creativity, and boundary setting, especially building these habits from a young age. In my spare time, I like to practice yoga, do arts & crafts, go to the beach, read mystery books, and explore new coffee shops. My skills include timeliness, patience and understanding, and a lighthearted playfulness.
