I'm a very responsible and kind person. I have helped take care of my elderly parents. I have also helped take care of my grandmother. While I went to graduate school, I stayed with an elderly Veteran on weekends so that his wife could travel. I was responsible for his care, meals and medication reminders. I have cared for an elderly woman on weekends for over a year. She had Dementia and was on strict medications and diet. Currently, I've been taking care of a couple 3 overnights a week . The husband passed away a month ago and next month the wife is going to live with her son. I have experience with transfers and a hoyer lift. Currently looking for a family that needs me.
