About Cathya

My name is Cathya (pronounced Kah-tee-ahh). I am a mom to an 8-month-old son and I have over 20 years experience working with children of all ages and in various capacities. As a teen a babysat for friends and family. I have worked as a group leader for children of all ages through non-profit organizations and professionally as a counselor and mentor. I also served as a youth leader to children of all ages where I organized activities and games. I also worked as a counselor with Twin Oaks helping foster children and children placed in the state's custody thrive in daily activities and also served as a tutor for these children. I am certified in CPR and AED. Safety and security are very important to me. I am a safe driver and a great multitasker. I am bi-lingual Spanish. I do cook and am willing to meal prep and I am comfortable with pets and multiple children. I recently left my position as a child abuse detective to become a postpartum doula.
