About Catherine

Hi! I am a fun, caring and patient sitter/tutor that has had 4 years of experience caring for children. For the past few years, I have worked as a summer and winter camp coach at American Kids Sports Center. I oversaw and managed activities for up to 65 children per day, including setting up, teardown, safety and discipline issues, and overall supervision. I had to earn their trust and respect so they would behave and thrive. I also was a dance instructor, teaching dance classes at American Dancers Workshop. This requires strong leadership and a gentle character as I guide, direct, and encourage many 2 to 11-year-olds on a weekly basis. This experience has brought me a great sense of pride, honor, and joy. I am a college student wanting to become an elementary school teacher, so having the opportunity to spend more time helping kids would be great!
