About Catherine

Hello, my name is Catherine, and I'm a retired oncology nurse. I've been doing caregiving off and on for over 20 years. In addition to my experience with cancer (and hospice) patients, I've also worked with families dealing with dementia and Alzheimer's. Most recently I was doing companion care for a family that was unable to visit their mother as frequenly as they would have liked. Many family members burn-out trying to take care of their loved ones single handedly... that's where I can help. Anyway, I'm also happy to do cooking and light housekeeping when needed. I have a reliable car, and often take clients to doctor appointments, shopping, out for meals, and even day trips to places they find enjoyable.
