I have been working as a caregiver in Sonoma county and northern Marin for the past 10 years. I have cared for children from the ages of 4 months to 9 years, and have done many nanny shares. I've always felt that children must come first in a parent's life, and so I was a full time mother to my 2 sons, now aged 23 and 26. I am very conscientious and responsible, patient and understanding of the nature and needs of children. All the families that I have worked with have always been very happy to see the deep bonds that I have forged with their children. I enjoy being outside with children, taking them to the park and other outings, and I particularly like reading to them. Catherine was with our family for about a year, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found her, especially as first-time parents. From the beginning, she fit seamlessly into the flow of our family life and was consistently reliable, dependable, flexible, understanding, and professional. One of the things that made Catherine especially wonderful for our family was that she spoke French with our daughter every day. As a French speaker myself, it has been incredibly important to me to pass the language on to my daughter from an early age, and Catherine played such a meaningful role in helping us build that foundation before she begins school. Most importantly, we always felt completely comfortable knowing our daughter was safe, loved, and well cared for with Catherine. Entrusting your child to someone else is such a significant thing, particularly as new parents, and Catherine truly set the bar for what you hope to find in a caregiver. Her impact extended beyond the care she provided day to day. She left such a positive imprint on our daughter and on our family as a whole, and we will always be grateful for everything she brought into our lives.
