About Catherine

Cat came into our lives during an incredibly difficult time, and I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. She connected with my 12-year-old son immediately. Within 40 minutes of meeting her on her test day, he came running to tell me, “She’s the one.” She just got him. She met him on his level, earned his trust, and used that connection to motivate him to do things he didn't always want to do, like chores, exercise, and simply getting out of the house. In a very short time, she built a level of trust with him that is truly special. She was also incredibly helpful around the house and was always looking for ways to contribute. She happily took on larger organizing projects that needed extra attention, and I regularly came home to a cleaner house than I had left that morning. Most importantly, I trusted her completely with the most important person in my life: my son. She quickly became part of our family, and we're both very sad that our time with her is ending now that school is starting again. Any family would be lucky to have Cat.
