About Catherine

Hi! I have been a nanny for a little over 15 years, with over 16 years of child care experience. I am also an elementary school teacher, currently teaching 2nd grade at Sweet Apple Elementary. I graduated with a B. A. in Early Childhood Education, in 2012, from Kennesaw State University. I just finished my Masters in Reading from Georgia Southern University. I have experience working with children between the ages of 2-13. I have worked with children who are dyslexic, who have ADHD and who have a behavior disorder. I am ESOL certified, Orton Gillingham certified, and have a reading endorsement. Much of my tutoring jobs have included providing academic review for elementary and middle school aged kids. I can bring all materials and plan activities to help strengthen your child's academic needs. I have my own transportation and can provide a resume/references upon request.
