About Catherine

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. With over eight years of experience working with students in grades PreK-5, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your unique learning style through active observation and by tailoring my methods-whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or open discussion-to suit your specific needs. When concepts become challenging, I break problems into manageable steps and connect topics to your personal interests to keep you engaged. I believe clear communication with both you and your parents is essential to building the trust necessary for academic growth. Witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. I am truly honored to support you on your journey toward mastering new skills and achieving your goals.
