About Catherine

I have a variety of experience working with children, which has allowed me to gain so many tools for their care and enrichment. I've worked as a preschool teacher, children's entertainer (attending birthday celebrations as a fairy princess--complete with face painting!), a day care worker play room, a summer camp counselor (teaching Drama and Dance), and I've been babysitting since I was 12. I have a passion for listening to children's stories, and helping them find their unique voice! I have experience with all ages, from newborns to middle-schoolers, and the bulk of my experience has been with children ages 1-4. I am an actor and artist, so I value fostering creativity and emotional intelligence. I am available for a part-time or full-time arrangement with a family who has occasional flexibility to accommodate rehearsals/performances. Any projects I do are scheduled well in advance and a full calendar will be provided. Typical conflicts would be for evenings.
