About Cat

Hi! My name is Cat and I'm 26, living in Northern Kentucky. I recently left St Elizabeth in Edgewood as a PCA (same as CNA/STNA) in the Neuroscience unit. I spent almost 3 years there, but now I'm looking for opportunities that aren't bedside in a hospital! The majority of my patients were seniors, whose diagnoses consisted of falls, Alzheimer's, Dementia, strokes, seizures, etc. My job consisted of full patient care so I am well educated and experienced. I am CPR certified, I can check vitals, blood sugar, and other health and medical management tasks. I find comfort and happiness knowing that I can help others and actually make a difference in their lives. I love good, fun humor and I believe it helps a lot in taking care of people. After working with seniors for a couple years, I fully understand how frustrating it is to lose independence, memory, routines, or when those easy tasks turn hard. Hopefully, I can help your family member to navigate through this time!
