About Catalina

I'm a Spanish and English teacher with over 6 years of combined classroom and nannying experience. My passion for nurturing children's development and my positive past babysitting experiences led me to pursue a career in childcare. I'm drawn to fostering curiosity and having fun with kids. As a caregiver, I'm patient, calm, creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules. I believe in clear and consistent communication with parents and keep them informed about their child's day through written daily reports and verbal communication at pickup. I'm also flexible and follow the parents' preferred communication method. I love playing outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I'm comfortable caring for up to 3 children, of varying ages, from infants to preteens. Besides English, I'm also fluent in Spanish.
