I enjoy instilling strong values of integrity in children with strong role-modeling: cleaning up after themselves, being considerate and polite, telling the truth, etc. I also love to focus on nurturing each individual child's stage of growth through play, exploration, and structured, age-appropriate activities and curricula Now that I am a true empty nester, I am looking for a long-term position where I can make a significant, positive impact on children's daily lives. I would love to grow with and navigate each phase of child rearing- from infancy to the teenage years After owning my hair styling business for 33 years, I decided to make a life-changing move from Maine last year. I am now ready to begin a new career as a nanny. My skills include creating age and developmentally appropriate activities, as well as nurturing and discovering each individual child's passions. I also incorporate very fair and creative, yet impactful disciplinary styles.
