I'd describe my personality as easy going, patient, and reliable. I like working with kids because I am able to make a positive difference in their lives. I'm looking for a job that allows me to provide some respite for parents. Being a parent can be tough. Parents of children with disabilities deserve a day off/ night out sometimes and I have the skill set to allow them to do that with confidence. I have been a special education teacher since 1994. I also ran a group home daycare for 5 years when our 4 children were young. When I have spare time, I like to hang out with family, walk my dog, and garden. I continue to work full-time as a special education teacher. I am only looking for sporadic work to help with the cost of college for our kids.
