About Cassie

Elementary Education teacher- taught 5th grade for the past two years. Growing up I knew that working with children would forever be a part of my life. From sixth grade to a freshman in college, I became a coach for special olympics, which allowed me to not only work on being a role model but to build my own character. Wanting more chances to teach and learn from children I became a nanny to two separate families all throughout high school and worked at NISRA during the summers (a camp that enriched the lives of children with disabilities through recreational activities). After all of my amazing experiences I determined I wanted to go to the University of Missouri to obtain my degree in Elementary Education and minor in Human Development and Family Science. While in college I had the ability to work for a before and after school program as well as a summer camp. After college I nannied full time for a loving family during the chaos of covid for a year before jumping into teaching.
