About Cassie

I am a mom of two and a graduate student in Social Work with a degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Professionally, I work with adolescents and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, and have a strong passion for supporting children with ASD and ID. I am CPR and Pediatric/Adult First Aid certified and trained in crisis de-escalation. My experience has helped me develop patience, creativity, and strong communication skills when working with children with different needs and learning styles. I am energetic, supportive, and believe children learn best through fun, active days filled with creativity, exploration, and encouragement. My long-term goal is to become a child therapist and continue helping children and families thrive.
