About Cassie

I have been fortunate to know Cassie for several years, both personally and professionally. Cassie is one of the most supportive, thoughtful, and kind people I know. As a teacher, she consistently demonstrates genuine care for her students—not only as learners, but as individuals. Cassie’s students enjoy being in her class because she seeks to understand them holistically. She goes out of her way to learn about her students’ interests, hobbies, and regularly checks in with them individually. Cassie is patient and a strong advocate for ensuring her students are supported and feel safe and loved in their learning environment. She is also highly reflective and always open to opportunities to learn or try new approaches. I have seen Cassie intentionally meet every child where they are, approaching all situations with compassion, empathy, and patience. She truly knows how to facilitate an inclusive and welcoming environment for all children.
