I'm an experienced nanny returning to southern CA after 4 years in Madrid where I spent time teaching English to both adults and primary school students. This past summer I returned to nanny for two children age 3 months and 4 years old and taught them Spanish while playing on the beach in Newport. Over the past 14 years I've worked in a variety of settings, but have more recently worked with newborn and infant age children. Those experiences have provided me with a calm demeanor and expert skills in soothing, sleep schedules, bottle feeding/sanitizing, swaddling, and meal preparation for parents. My favorite pastimes are photography, art, and outdoor activities like camping and hiking with my husky. I am also available for pet care if you have a dog or cat that needs exercise or love while you're away. Cassie nannied our 2-year-old daughter for a year and was the best. She leans in, knows how to engage at kid level and is kind and thoughtful in how she communicates with children. Her background in education and calm temperament make her a great nanny or babysitter. Our needs changed and we couldn't continue her a full-time position, but she still babysits for us and our little girl loves her. We do too, and recommend her to anyone looking for a mature, reliable caregiver.
