She was an exceptional caregiver. In addition to being timely, caring, and personable, she brought a level of emotional intelligence and steadiness that made a tremendous difference for my dad and for our entire family. She was attentive and proactive, quickly learning his routines, preferences, and medical needs. She handled both physical care and emotional support with skill and compassion, and she consistently treated him with deep respect and dignity. Her strength, patience, and calm presence were invaluable during some very difficult moments. She integrated seamlessly into our home and genuinely became part of our family. We trusted her completely and valued her so much that we provided additional benefits to express our appreciation for the care she provided. While she was great, we did encounter one significant issue. She supported us on weekends, and on a Friday midday she informed us that she would no longer be providing caregiving services. The sudden notice left us in a difficult position, as we had no backup for the following morning and it created a real crisis for our family. What made the situation more confusing was that she continued to appear on the site as an available caregiver even after telling us she was no longer offering services. If you decide to work with her, I would recommend setting clear expectations around communication and notice periods to ensure continuity of care.
