About Cassandra

Hello! My name is Cassandra! I go by Cassie! I was born and raised in California and have been out here in Utah for a total of 13 years now! I grew up riding horses and competed in hunters and jumpers. I love going to the beach, hiking, playing with dogs, eating good food, traveling, and I play in a band with a bunch of friends! My interest in childcare started when I was in elementary school (first grade) and I noticed one of my classmates had a disability (autism) which made school and socializing immensely harder for him. Being a compassionate classmate/ friend, I used to take time out of my days at school to be his friend and help him in class. When I started work, I got hired at chrysalis and worked for 4 1/2 years as a DSP and house manager for adults with mental and physical disabilities. This past year, I decided to further my career as a caregiver so I became a CNA where I worked in a long term care facility for 3 months!
