I love all mammals, though I have very limited experience with any other than dogs and cats. I've had friends in the past that had a ferret, but that's about it. I have been fostering cats and kittens for over 10 years, including kittens as young as 2 days old. I have a lot of experience with bottle feeding and administering different forms of oral medications, as well as topical, ocular (eyes), and auricular (ears). I have less recent experience with dogs (my last dog passed a few years ago). I raised my first husky from 8 weeks old to over 17 years old when she passed. I cared for her through her recovery from surgery (hip dysplasia). I also adopted a 2-year-old husky from a rescue, where she was taken from a family who let their young child abuse her. With time, she learned to trust people again and lived a long life before passing a few years ago.
