About Cassandra

I have provided care to seniors for 13years professionally. It has been rewarding and an honor to service such an resilient generation from various cultural groups with ranging physical and cognitive needs over the years. Throughout this journey, I have garnered a passion for dementia patients in particular and developed experience with patients/ clients who battled the following: COPD, CHF, Parkinson's, Hospice, Various Cancers, along with bed bound clients, utilizing transferring apparatuses such as Hoyer lifts and sit to stand lifts. Also, assistive mobility devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, rollators, canes, and gait belts. Partaking in Psychology courses, rendered the ability to operate with a high level of emotional intelligence; necessary to understand each client, their circumstances, and the importance of recognizing/ focusing on their strengths oppose to dwelling on their limitations. It is this advantage that catapult my caregiving experience and approval of services.
