About Cassandra

My name is Cassandra and I am from a small town in Georgia. I went to the University of West Georgia where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I had the opportunity to live overseas, and attended seminary after returning from abroad. I have worked with children in numerous types of settings. I was a camp counselor at a summer camp, a substitute teacher during college, a nanny, and I was a full-time preschool teacher. I also worked with a company as an RBT providing ABA therapy to children who have been diagnosed with Autism. As of now, I work with a family I actually met here on Care. com. I am only seeking employment elsewhere because the family will not need me during the summer months, and potentially not in the Fall either. Both parents are professors, and the mother will be going on maternity leave in the Fall. Their2-year-old will also be starting school in September. Needless to say, I will be needing a position around the time they finish the UVA school year in May.
