About Casey

We hired Casey in November 2025 after learning that our child needed additional support with writing and reading comprehension. For context, our child attends a gifted and talented program with a rigorous curriculum. From the very first session, our child immediately gravitated toward Casey. She is incredibly patient and calm and has a wonderful way of making learning fun. Casey takes the time to learn what a child enjoys and incorporates those interests into her lessons, which kept our child engaged and excited to learn. As a parent, I also found Casey very easy to communicate with. I could always speak openly with her about what my child was struggling with, whether at home or at school, and Casey would listen and adjust her approach accordingly. Within just a few months, my child’s teacher noticed a real difference and even emailed us to say that she was showing improvement. By May, my child was reading above grade level, using text evidence to support her thinking, and confidently making inferences. Casey also helped her prepare for the New York State exams, and let’s just say she was more than prepared! I’ve recommended Casey to so many parents because she truly is the best. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her this past school year. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and look forward to working with her again this year!
