About Summerlyn

Hi my name is Summer! I am a first year medical student at George Washington University. I began babysitting when I was in high school (ages 6 months-12 y. o.), as well as tutoring and homework assistance. I understand that every child is different so whenever I work as a babysitter or nanny, I try to discover the child's needs so I can help them thrive everyday. I value activity time highly so I always try to incorporate different activities, whether it is something outdoors or doing a craft or experiment inside. I also believe it is important to include reading and other educational activities for appropriate age levels. I enjoy being fully engaged in my everyday life and I can't think of a better way to do this than taking care of children!
