About Caruxa

I'm a passionate educator with experience working with children and teens of all ages, learning styles, and backgrounds. I graduated with a degree in Biology and also studied Pharmacy at the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain. I currently work as a high school Special Education and Inclusion Science teacher. Over the years, I've worked closely with bilingual learners and students with special needs, and I truly value creating a patient, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and building confidence. I offer both private and group Spanish classes for toddlers and through high school age. My classes are hands-on, interactive, and designed to make learning fun and natural for every age group. I also provide virtual and in-person tutoring sessions and general academic help for students. I'm fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Galician, which allows me to connect with many bilingual and multilingual families.
