About Carson

Hello, I am actually an occupational therapist as well as certified breastfeeding specialist and postpartum doula. While I enjoy my career of OT, my passion/joy still remains in helping young infants develop and supporting families in the postpartum period. Fun facts: I am from a small town in NC but moved here to Fredericksburg recently for a PRN OT position. I love staying active; I played collegiate volleyball and love ping pong, spike ball, snowboarding, and more. I consider myself to be creative and love crafting, home décor, and organization. Most importantly, I have cared for children from 1-2 months of age to 36 months of age for the past 12+ years! If I could nanny as a full-time career, it would be the career for me. For now, I am looking to nanny between 3-12 hours ideally, as I currently am working part-time as an OT ~4 days per week. My availability can be variable so the times listed are just a guess! Some weekend availability.

Carson kept my 3 month old son when I returned to work; our son LOVED her and we LOVED having her work for us! Carson would often send me photos during the day; he was ALWAYS so happy! I always felt so comfortable with my baby being in her care. Carson was also helpful around the house; the bottles and dishes were always cleaned when I got home. One day my husband came home from work and we had to take an emergency trip to the ER. I myself had just walked in the door and Carson was about to leave. She immediately volunteered to stay. I didn't have much time to give Carson our "bedtime" routine (as she always kept him during the day). But, when we got home that night, our son was bathed, in his pajamas, asleep in his crib (something that we couldn't accomplish as first time parents), and she had started a load of laundry and cleaned up our living room! Carson is a wonderful young woman and any family would be so fortunate to her work for them!
