About Carson

I started babysitting when I was around 14 years old and have continued caring for and educating children ever since then. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Studio Arts. In addition I studied Early Childhood Education through the UCLA Extension program. I spent two years teaching at a small private preschool and the last 3 years as a nanny/personal assistant for a family with two school age children. I believe that children are constantly learning, whether it is in an actual classroom or playing at home, so I do my best to incorporate enriching activities that are both fun and educational. I try to consistently promote exploration and investigation, I think it is powerful for children to be able to teach themselves through their own discoveries. My goal as a caregiver is to keep your child safe, happy, and engaged.
