Hello! I have been and swim instructor and a English Tutor for 3 years. As a swim instructor I have worked with a variety of children ages 5-16 and even some adults. In addition to private lessons, I currently teach the homeschool program for Chesterfield and Doling family centers and I also coach the swim team for the Greene County Park Board. I have had all sorts of different learners and know that it is essential for a teacher to be flexible, creative and able to teach the same thing 100 different ways so that it is specifically tailored to the student. Some qualities I possess are: -Flexibility -Encouraging -Patience -Proficiency in many subjects (available to tutor in grades K-12). -Ability to devise educational and recreational activities for all ages. I have also worked with a family with 2 overweight children and I was hired by them to keep their children active 5 days a week and devise a fitness regime for them that was fun and playful. We did all sorts of recreation activities outdoors and indoors at the pool. I also. It was successful for both children. I would be willing to do something like that again.
