About Carrie

Considerate, Fun, and Patient I like working with kids because I remember how important the care I got from my teachers, counselors, and mentors positively shaped my life. I love to encourage and build kids up. I'm looking for a job with parents/guardians who trust that we have a mutual interest in the child's growth. I started working with kids when I became a summer camp counselor in 2020! In my spare time, I like to write, read, run, perform and watch stand-up comedy. One thing you should know about me is I am very chill, but I do not strive to be "cool." I will adhere to parent given guidelines and always be direct and upfront about what is going on throughout the day. My skills include finding ways to let kids engage with everyday tasks, naptime, goofy games. I am a runner so if your kids likes to play outside, I'm game.
