Hello fellow bird-lovers! I would love to take care of your feather babies while you're out of town. As a parrot owner (I have a cockatiel, Bourke's parakeet, and two rosella parrots), I know how sensitive these gorgeous creatures can be. You need a pet sitter who understands these animals' particular care needs--they're nothing like cats and dogs! I know the basics of parrot first-aid and carry an emergency kit plus sunflower seed treats in my pocket. If you just need someone to come by once per day to ensure your birds are fed and watered, I can do that. If you want someone to come by and keep your bird entertained for a while with a full repertoire of whistle songs, I can do that too. Or if your bird is tame and more trusting of strangers, I'd be happy to let them out for some flight time and play.
