About Carrie

Warm, friendly, middle-aged mama of 3 teenagers with over 25 years of experience in child care. I tutored/homeschooled my own children for various lengths of time (according to their needs and preference), the longest being through 7th grade. All were able to transition successfully to public school and excel in honors and gifted classes. I am a certified special education teacher with an MAT and 3. 5 years experience in self-contained ASD. I am now retired from the classroom and still wanting to care for/ work with/ teach children but in a less strenuous setting. I would like also to care for elderly people.
