About Carrie

Stay at home mom with grown kiddos looking to help out a local family providing reliable care for up to three children, ranging from infants to pre-teens. I love kids, am a former primary school teacher and currently run a summer day camp for girl scouts in the area (volunteer director). I consider myself patient, calm, and creative, more interested in connecting and comforting than being a task master. I hold First Aid Training and CPR Training certifications and held a K-8 teaching certificate in the state of California until 2020. I also substitute taught in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District for 4 years. I am very comfortable enforcing your household rules, communication preferences with the kiddos, as well as reward or behavior systems. I can assist with meal preparation, carpooling, and swimming supervision if needed. I follow your preferred communication method to ensure you stay updated throughout the day.
