About Carolyn

Hello! My name is Carolyn . I am just finishing up my junior year at the University of Kansas where I am studying Speech-Language Pathology and Applied Behavioral Science. I am looking for a nanny position while I am here in Lawrence for the summer! I am a very outgoing and responsible individual. I have 6 years of child experience from my time at Lincoln-Way Special Recreation Association. While at this job I worked with children and teens with disabilities and gained much experience. I planned, organized and assisted with a variety of activities, such as field trips, crafts and games. This job taught me much about child care. I gained more people skills (with children and adults), an increased sense of responsibility, an enjoyment of creating/playing games and an overall love of being around children. I am CPR and first aid certified and have 3 years of experience as a swim lesson aide. I love animals as well and have no issue taking care of one!
