About Carolyn

I'd describe my personality as honest, compassionate, flexible I'm looking for a job that I can make a positive impact in the lives of the clients I'd look after. I would really enjoy helping people each day to live independently in their own homes and making a positive difference within my community. I started caring for seniors and the disabled 20 years ago as Program Director for a non for profit serving children, teens and adults with disabilities. I retired early to become the primary caregiver for both my mother and father in law. Years later with my mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and then my father who was a double amputee. After caring for family members I realized I could have a career caring for seniors in my community providing comfort, compassion and companionship. In my spare time, I like to spend time in the outdoors enjoying nature, fishing and bike riding. Also, spending time with family and friends.
