Hello! Thank you for reading my bio. I am a new member of the Katy community. I lived in California for a few years, but decided to move back "home" this year to be closer to my family in Louisiana and Texas. I have years of experience as a full time nanny to working families of small children. During COVID, I made the decision to retire from full time nanny work, but I am still interested in evening and weekend babysitting opportunities. Prior to my few years in California, I spent my life Louisiana. I was a public elementary school bus driver and very much enjoyed that role. My passion is caring for children and doing what I can to support busy families. I will gladly help with meal prep, homework, and bathing, and bedtime. I am certified in first aid and CPR. Carolyn has been a great help taking occasional care of my daughter from when she was two months old to nine months now. Her experience shows through as she was able to calm my daughter when she was having reflux and spit-up issues. She spends time playing and talking with even a young baby, which is so good for their development. She has also graciously helped out a number of times when I reached out to her at short notice because my regular nanny did not turn up. I definitely recommend her.
