About Carolyn

Hi! I am passionate about working with children and helping all children learn and grown. I went to Ohio State University for college where I attained my bachelors degree in early and middle childhood development. During my college courses I worked at the university child care program where I had the opportunity to work and teach children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. I loved this so much that after I graduated I was hired on full time as a pre-school teacher. I worked for 5 years as a preschool teacher before my husband's job moved us here to the Asheville area. I started working at an elementary school here in January as an instructional assistant! I'd describe my personality as calming and easygoing, open-minded and thoughtful, and motivated and hard working. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and temporary! I have my summers open now that I work at an elementary school. In my spare time, I like to explore our new city, hike, yoga, ride my bike, walk my dogs, and read!
