About Carolyn

I have 20+ years combined experience working with young children. I have worked as a professional nanny, worked for a daycare center and in an elementary school setting as a special needs associate. I immensely enjoy caring for newborns and young children. Reading books, singing songs and introducing new, age-appropriate experiences are just part of the day to day care I provide. Children do best following an orderly routine and I prefer to follow parent's wishes in this area. Both the children and I will need plenty of outdoor playtime and exploration - going for walks, trips to the park and library for storytime will be regular, with parents' permission at all times. I am also happy to help out with light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation as well as pet care & minor errands. I can assure families that your children will be engaged in fun learning activities while being cared for in a safe and loving manner.
