About Carolyn

I'd describe my personality as laid-back, serious, nerdy I like working with kids because it was through tutoring/mentorship when I was young that allowed me to go further and access way more opportunities. I love opening those doors for others as well and encouraging them to believe in themselves and see all the possibilities I'm looking for a job that would allow me to tutor middle - high-school level kids in the evenings and on the weekends. I do have an full time job during the day, but kids have school during the day, so our schedules should align nicely. I babysat all through high-school and quite a bit in college. I tutored elementary school kids during high school/college at well. My siblings have kids and I strive to be the favorite auntie by being engaged and fun when I'm around. In my spare time, I like to hike, read, camp, ski, garden, and restore old furniture. One thing you should know about me is I have two bachelor's degrees: in English chemical engineering
