About Carol

Hi! My name is Care! I'm 26 and I love caregiving. Currently I live in Virginia Beach, but I am soon moving to Gainesville VA to help my dad with his cancer and continue nursing school. I have been working with kids (paid) since 2016. And I have been working in a hospital (Sentara) since 2024. Since February of this year my care has involved mainly the elderly in the ICU. I've realized I love the elderly especially when they come with some mental qwerks :). I work as a patient care technician at sentara. I do everything a CNA does but I can also straight cath, insert foleys, draw blood, and perform EKG's. I have 10-20 patients at a time. I LOVE my patients. But I want one on one for a change. One thing you should know about me is I love my job. It is genuinely what I live for (other than my dog). It's the reason I get up in the morning and I take so much pride in my job. I like to think I'm the best of the best when it comes to caregiving.
