About Caroline

I'm an experienced classroom and online ELA and ENL teacher. I also teach K-5 math. I love teaching and seeing students' growth and progress. Creating lessons that engage and challenge students is my goal. These are things that really motivate me. To keep younger students engaged, I combine classwork assignments and specialized tutoring with learning games. With older students, in addition to classwork assignments, I help them stay organized, focused, and interested in the material. Prior to teaching, I worked as an event manager in the business world. This field is very focused on project management which I can teach as an elective. Effective project management can be a differentiating factor between a successful student and a disorganized one. I am enthusiastic, supportive, and ready to help students achieve!
