About Carol

I have over 20 years of experience working with the adult and geriatric population as a licensed, board certified Physical Therapist in NY and PA. In addition, I have over 5 years of experience acting as the primary patient advocate for two close family members with complicated medical issues. I have a passion for working with seniors, and I am looking for a position to use my experience to become a senior helper/companion/advocate. I am interested in helping seniors live safe, active and full lives. That may include: helping clients navigate their healthcare needs (medication management, setting up and managing a patient portal, making/attending doctor appts/tests, assisting in research and education on medical issues), assistance with stretching and exercises to stay at the highest level of function and mobility, assistance with higher level household and community activities (home organization, walking outdoors, grocery shopping) and being a caring companion to prevent loneliness.
