Hi, I recently relocated from Los Angeles, and am currently looking for a new family to work with. My name is Carmen and I am a 38-year-old who genuinely loves being a nanny. I enjoy outside play and making up age-appropriate games; while providing the kids I care for with a safe, yet positive atmosphere to grow in. I've held a variety of childcare positions; including live-in to live-out, full-time, part-time, after-school pickups, date nights, overnights, twins, infant nanny-share, and travel work. I've cared for a range of ages; from 1 week - 11 years old. As you can see from all of my work, I'm well-versed in sleep training, potty training, baby sign, driving to after-school activities, folding child laundry, and making healthy snacks. I have been CPR certified on a regular basis over the past 15 years and can provide more than 5 child care references. In my off time, I enjoy running, hiking, and rock climbing. *Please note, my rate starts at $25 and increases with duties.

Carmen was AMAZING. She took such special care to get to know my kids so she could be the best caregiver possible for them. My kids can intimidate babysitters. I have one child with nonverbal autism with extreme needs and another child with anxiety. Carmen took such special care of them and I felt so heard as a mother for their needs. She also did it while we were in a hotel and didn't have access to everything the kids would usually have in their home! I can't wait to visit the area again and rehire her! I highly recommend for parents nervous about hiring a babysitter for their child with autism. My son has more severe needs and he was so well taken care of.
