Hi! I'm Carmen and have 30+ years of experience as a professional nanny. I specialize in infant/newborn care including multiples. I'm only interested in full time positions (30-50) doing newborn & infant care & night nanny work. Once the child is 12-14 months, I'm happy to facilitate the next step in your child's care. I have a small business restoring vintage jewelry and am a painter. My employers would describe me as responsible, nurturing, patient, knowledgeable and funny. I'm comfortable with almost any kind of animal/pet (bring on the goats!) and family environment. I work hard to make new parents feel at ease and defer to their choices on the child's upbringing and care - the nanny is there to facilitate those intentions. I follow 2 basic rules; 1) Love the child and; 2) put the child's needs before your own. Lastly, I'm impervious to crying, a non smoker, infant safety/CPR & pet CPR certified, lifeguard trained, fully vaxxed & have blue hair. I look forward to meeting you!

Carmen is just so wonderful. We had the pleasure of Carmen being the most loving caregiver for our infant daughter and a friends daughter (nanny share) at our home. My daughter just loves Carmen and has thrived under her care. She is communicating so well with sign language that Carmen has taught her. It is so comforting as a first time mother to know my daughter is in the best hands possible. Carmen helps us when we are trying to make schedule changes to see if my little one will sleep better, has encouraged her love of solid food, has time for both structured and independent play. Carmen has also adjusted her style for each of the two girls unique needs. Anyone would be lucky to have Carmen care for their child.
