About Carmen

I have three girls, ages 6, 3, and 1. Carmen has been our children's babysitter and daycare teacher for the past year. Carmen has a way of putting children at ease. I have seen her work with a wide range of personalities, and even when disciplining has a calm yet effective demeanor. As a preschool teacher in the 2-3's classroom, my daughter adored her and she was always engaging the kids by reading stories, singing songs, marching and working on projects with them. As a babysitter, she is very resourceful - I provided minimal instruction and she was able to successfully put the baby down when she was tired (and change her into a new diaper and pajamas) after several hours of play, and played with, fed, and calmed down the 3 and 6 year old so they were ready for bed by the time we got home. Carmen is a wonderful caregiver and person, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a preschool teacher, sitter or nanny.
