With over 15 years of experience caring for children, I truly love what I do. Supporting children as they learn, grow, and discover the world brings me great joy. I hold a graduate degree and a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, and I am certified in First Aid and CPR.
I enjoy reading stories, doing arts and crafts, listening to music, and spending time outdoors exploring and playing together. I believe in learning through play, creativity, and positive guidance. I am comfortable caring for two children and happy to help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
I am patient, calm, and nurturing, and I respect each family's routines and values. I enjoy communicating with parents through daily updates and written reports. Creating a safe, loving, and happy environment for children is always my priority.

As our youngest heads off to kindergarten, we are heartbroken to lose our amazing nanny, Carmen, who has been an integral part of our family for the last 3.5 years.

Where do I even begin how wonderful this woman is. She is part of our family and always will. We have had the privilege of having Carmen with us for the last 4.5years. We are moving out of state and despite much encouragement, we couldn't get her to come with us. She has been with us from the birth of my first born and thru 2 more births all in a short 3.5years. She has the patience of a saint, is very helpful around the house, she loves our kids and dog like they are her own, and just a genuine and good person. I can not recommend her enough. I only pray she finds a family deserving of her. Trustworthy, dependable, adaptable, thoughtful and punctual. Carmen, you are a rare gem and I wish you nothing but the best, because you deserve nothing less.

Carmen is an AMAZING person, as well as an AMAZING nanny. We have two-year old twins and a five year old, who truly all love her. She has been our nanny for almost two years. Sadly, it's time for the twins to go to pre-school, and our 5 year old is now in kindergarten. 
Among her wonderful attributes, Carmen is incredibly patient and loving, and very creative and crafty. Our playroom is full of fun art pieces she created with the kids. Also, by being immersed in the Spanish language, our 2 year old daughter now speaks both English and Spanish.
Everyday, the kids are at the library, or park, or playing outside. The television is rarely on, and mostly only to play music/lullabies. Whatever and whenever we needed, she was always there for us: creating schedules, attending classes with the kids, preparing meals, giving baths....
I highly recommend Carmen. If you are seeking a loving, nurturing, reliable nanny, there is no need to look any farther than Carmen. She will be missed.

Carmen has watched our children (3 yr old and 1 yr old) on several occasions. She is sweet, caring and patient with them. She speaks Spanish with them and is very patient with teaching them new things. Both my kids love her. She takes care of all of their needs and also tidies up around the house. She has always been absolutely reliable and responsible and shows good judgment. To top it off she is also a great cook!  I would hire Carmen again anytime without hesitation. 

I LOVE Carmen.  And my kids LOVE Carmen.  I consider myself super lucky for finding the best nanny in Las Vegas.  She is the most patient person I have ever met.  She doesn't get visibly frustrated in frustrating situations.  She calmly explains to my girls why they can or cannot do/have something and they actually listen!  My oldest daughter was really difficult when Carmen started working with our family and she has since calmed down significantly.  I attribute much of that to Carmen and her approach to child care.  She is incredibly smart and well-educated and she teaches my children new things every day.  My daughter's teachers and other parents from her class pull me aside and comment on how amazing Carmen is with my girls when I am not around.  If only I could convince Carmen to relocate to CA with our family...
