I just finished my 3rd live in caregiving job for a lovely 93-year-old Italian lady whom I lived in her home for 6 years in Rochester Mi. She passed away sadly May 19th , she had dementia and Alzheimer's, and the last 4 months she was unable to walk , when I first started the husband was with me for the first year and then he passed. I took care of her meds, light housecleaning, laundry, cooking, anything she needed I was very lucky to work for a wonderful family who took great care of their mother, and of me ! I'm not thinking of doing another live in but who knows if I meet the right person I may reconsider. I Was thinking of more of a 9-5 or the possibility of a couple of 24 shifts or 12 hour shifts . I have 10 years experience and can provide great references !!
