About Carmen

Carmen was a nanny for our two girls for 6 years, from the newborn stage through starting school. Carmen was organized, hard working, nurturing and calm. I always felt at peace coming home to a house that was cared for, children who were excited to share their day and grounded in routine, responsibilities, and fun activities. Our family has special dietary considerations and Carmen went above and beyond to respect our needs and boundaries. I really cannot say enough good things about Nana Carmen and all that she has done for our family. Our girls still remember her fondly, and although she has moved away we have been able to visit while on vacation and always look forward to catching up. When I think about Carmen, I feel like she is family. But I guess that’s not even a fair comparison because she really exceeds all of the expectations I had about sharing child-rearing with someone else while I worked part-time. When I see all of the caring, patience, and nurturing that my children demonstrate, I know that she is a part of that and I am forever grateful. She truly holds a special place in all of our hearts!
