About Carmelo

Hi! I'm Carmelo , (English, Español) I have loved working with kids for years. I find it exciting to watch kids grow and develop and learn new skills. I bring to the table skills in compassion, playfulness and responsibility. I deeply care about restoritave justice in my caretaking approach. I also have experience working with and being companions for kids with autism and neurodivergent kids, helping them feel safe in the intense environment of a summer camp and build social skills and create new friends! I also provide elder care. I have worked as a CNA for over 1. 5 years and find it rewarding to help seniors with their basic needs so they can maintain a dignified life. I have worked with many seniors with dementia and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I also love cooking (my main dishes are rice & beans, and chicken stew) and I can help out by cleaning as well.
